UXSET STEP and UXSET MSG returns 256

Hello,
We are on $U 6.7.01 installed on 2012 R2 servers

The 2 commands UXSET STEP and UXSET MSG launched in Perl uproc returns 256
We use these commands in this way
$USetStepCmdLine = $ENV{'UNI_DIR_EXEC'}."/UXSET STEP \"".$Message."\"";
`$USetStepCmdLine`;
print "return code = $?\n";

The command UXSET VAR works well. It returns 0

Regards
Pierre

    Hi Kamel,
    I use this command to retrieve the return code
    print ("return code = $?\n");

    Hi Pierre,

    I wanted you to check syntax of the uxset command

    the command should be  :
    uxset step nn
    ( nn, is a step number )

    Hi Kamel,
    Same behaviour
    CommandStep = D:\ORSYP\DUAS\ERMINT_INTWEB0004\bin/UXSET STEP "01"
    RetourStep = 256

    Hi Kamel,

    Without the ""
    CommandStep = D:\ORSYP\DUAS\ERMINT_INTWEB0004\bin/UXSET STEP 01
    RetourStep = 256

    Hi Pierre,

    it looks like a script error in the evaluation of the command

    do you have the issue if you use the explicit syntax of the command ?
    c:\ORSYP\DUAS\ERMINT_INTWEB0004\bin/UXSET STEP 01

    Hi Kamel,

    Yes, see the previous answers
    Same command which  gives 256
    Could you try from your side ?
